  • Service:
Design Team Leader. Concept and design development leading to the preparation and submission of a full planning application incorporating change of use within a conservation area. Client representation services provided during construction. The planning consent achieved the redevelopment of the tower from office use to residential. By the application of a new external cladding system in conjunction with internal re-planning the consent facilitated the subdivision of floor levels 3 to 10 to form 48 apartments. The proposal translates the solidity and vertical emphasis of the adjacent buildings through a series of ceramic planes interrupted by a simple rhythm of fenestration.
