Working with existing buildings not only presents challenges in understanding structural capability to create opportunities but there are also peripheral issues that are equally as important such as Party Wall and Structure matters. The majority of our retail projects have required Notices being served under The Party Wall Act 1996 as many formed part of larger occupied premises where continuity of trade had to be maintained for adjacent tenants.
